an effort to continue improving MeL and MeLCat so libraries and
Michigan residents get the most benefits from the program, the
Library of Michigan has contracted with EPIC MRA to study the

Pay Fines Online!
You can now pay fines for lost and overdue items using our website
and your debit or credit card. To access this option, select the
"Pay Fines" tab within our online card
catalog.
New borrowers can now apply for a library card online. You'll
receive a temporary card number, allowing you to place holds and
access online databases immediately. Once the temporary card
number is issued, you'll have 30 days to pick up your permanent
card at the Circulation Desk of the Orion Library.
Fall Knitting Circle
Monday, September 28th - November 30th @ 6:30pm
Join us on Monday evenings for our 10 week fall knitting
circle. Bring your own project or show your library card at
Heritage Spinning and Weaving in the Village of Lake Orion and
get 15% off any of the special "OTPL Knitting Circle" kits (yarn
and pattern) during September and October. Our knitting circle
is ideal for any level on knitter, but basic knitting skills are
required as this is not an instructional class. Please contact
Adult Services at 248-693-3001 to register.
