The Friends of the Orion Library are an important group of people who are advocates of the library. Friends enhance and support the library's services to the community. When you join the Friends of the Orion Library, you say YES to your library.
What Do They Do?
Promote awareness of the library's programs and services.
Provide direct financial assistance to purchase new equipment and materials and fund special programs for adults and children.
Provide volunteer assistance for library programs and special events.
Raise funds through annual projects.

The mission of the Orion Township Public Library shall be to provide and make readily available library services necessary to meet the educational, informational, recreational, and cultural needs of the community and to develop and promote the library as a resource capable of meeting the challenges of today and into the future.
