Charter Township of Orion Oakland County, Michigan
Parks & Recreation Pondless Waterfall at Friendship Park The waterfall at Friendship Park was constructed as a "Build A Pondless Waterfall" workshop conducted by CSI/Geoturf, Inc., on Friday, September 26, 2003. Approximately ten contractors attended the workshop along with three Parks & Recreation staff members. The Township has truly benefited from the workshop, as we now have a pondless waterfall near the newly constructed gazebo in Friendship Park. This water feature is valued from $10-15,000, and the Township's cost was only $800. This incredible attraction will be a true asset to our park for years to come. The following companies and personnel attended the workshop and assisted in the construction: |
