Senior Cell Phone Program

Cell Phone Donations:
Donations of cell phones can be made to the main office of the Sheriff
Department at 1200 N. Telegraph Rd., Building 38E, Pontiac, MI 48341, or at your local
substation. The Orion Substation is located on the lower level of the Orion
Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, MI 48360. Phones donated must
be in good condition and include an AC/DC recharging unit. Phones will be
reprogrammed, kept charged and will only dial 911 emergency personnel.
Cell Phone Pick-Ups:
Senior citizens may pick up a cell phone
at the main office of the Sheriff Department at 1200 N. Telegraph Road,
Building 38E, Pontiac, Michigan 48341, every
Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and every first and third Saturdays from 9
a.m. to 12 noon.

A senior
citizens' hotline has been established at (248) 975-9700 for more
information on cell phone pick up or donations.
